Meet The Team

Dental Assistant
I was born in New York and raised in Puerto Rico, before moving to Chicago, IL when I was 11 years old. I moved to Delaware and became a dental assistant 16 years ago. In 2011, I started working for Dr. Rama. I like everything involves assisting the doctor and making the patients feel comfortable. My job is not always the same for me and that’s what I love about it.

Patient Care Coordinator
I have lived in Delaware for about 14 years now and consider it home these days. I attended school for Medical Billing and Coding from 2008-2009 at Harris School of Business. I have been working at Smyrna Dental since 2011 with a short 9 month stint in Pediatrics. I have always been intrigued by the dental world and can see myself staying in this career field. I love seeing patients every day, interacting with them, and seeing the progress of the dental work done. To have a job that is truly fulfilling is quite the blessing in today’s age and time. I am the mother to a sweet, gentle little boy, Brayden who is very excited to meet his new sibling in March as I am expecting baby number two with my fiancé, Tyler.

I graduated as a dental assistant in 2013. What I love best about working at Smyrna Dental is the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I live in Centreville, Maryland, with my husband and two daughters. For fun, we try to go to Disney World every year.

Dental Hygienist
I was born and raised in Delaware, and have been a hygienist for about six years. I have been with Smyrna Dental since 2011. I enjoy meeting new people and building relationships with the patients I care for. It makes me happy to hear the appreciative responses from patients that have not been to the dentist for many years, that end up leaving relieved and satisfied with the results. They appreciate my gentle touch.

I am a graduate of the dental hygiene program at Delaware Tech in Dover, DE. I recently joined Smyrna Dental, and I’m excited to be part of such a wonderful team! I love providing a comfortable experience for my patients, especially those that tend to be nervous or uncomfortable in the dental setting, and I enjoy working with patients of all ages. My passion in dental hygiene is helping my patients to understand how dental health affects their overall health and how we can work together toward the best oral health possible. When I’m not at work, I’m a busy wife and a mother to four wonderful kids. We spend most of our time at different baseball or softball games most of the year.
